i just like a foreground on different situations...

Trust me, I tried my best to get a foreground shot but was hanging to the ledge trying not to fall in the freezing water while trying to hold on with one hand and hold my phone with the other lol. My husband actually had me by the loop on my boot hehe Sure would have been cold had I fell in and a sad day if this phone got wet!

A few shots from my trusty cell camera.

Good texture shot in 1, lighting and flare in 2, and nice fall color in 3. :)

I have had a couple others tell me that I had an "eye" for composition. I am just going to go ahead and put pride aside here and ask someone to please explain composition to me!
Please don't laugh! I am very new to taking photos and it is just become a love that I have aquired this past year. I guess I need to get a book and learn all the terms and types of photography!

I am so glad someone seen the texture in #1. You have been the first to comment on that. I loved the way the weeds were creeping up through the brick and seemed to make a path of their own as well as the texture and color of the brick itself! Thanks so much!

I love street or ground level shots. It really gives a nice perspective on the location. Not much traffic at all on this street. This was outside a local gunshop in the older, original part of town. I fell in love with the brick street when we pulled in.

I thought that maybe you were crawling home after a night on the town! He He

That was in my younger, wilder days but instead of the street shot...you would've gotten the ring of the porcelain throne! bahahahaha

things i like best about #1 was the texture but. liked way by doing that you also made rest of things hazy out of focus but not so much as it took away from the photo.
