Hi there Brian, great post. We were fortunate enough to have Carlos play the national anthem during the World Series games here in SF last month. He lives in Marin County just across the GG Bridge to the north. I have some cool shots of him too as I went to the games. Let me know if it's okay to post.

Thank you Brian. Here are 2 shots of Carlos Santana from game 4 (game 2 for us here in SF) of the World Series. What a class act. This man is so true to his heritage yet also very so very respectful to America. It was a fun night.

Studied jazz piano for a couple of years back in the 1960's. When I saw all the starving piano players around the piano bars in the LA area that played so much better than me, I quit and went back to college and got a real education. :-D Still tinkle a little but old age and old Arthur has caught up with my hands. Try to strum guitar a little. As you say, I do love music and my favorite instruments to listen to are the piano, guitar and harmonica. I have tried the harmonica but not very successfully. Every time I try it out it sets my dogs off. You should hear them howl. :lol:

I used to be stationed with Santana's nephew. When I expressed my doubt, he showed me photos of him sitting on his Mom's couch with Uncle Carlos.
I tried like Hell to get a guitar-tech gig, but it never worked out...
