Unfortunately every thing in nature isn't cute, warm and fuzzy. Wish it was but it's not . :|

Despite the fact that your photo does not show the pretty side of nature, it does show what happens in nature. It is part of the food chain. The photo did get my attention. It is a good photo even though it is gruesome to look at an animal being killed.

This got my attention, great photography, but I don't like it. I am one of those who looks away when the predator gets its catch. I know they need to eat but it still bothers me.

Bravo. My attention can be served better elsewhere.

The shot is great. It may be gruesome to us, but it is supper and survival for the lion. I might be opening up a can of worms, but I dare say that most of us don't find the meat department of our grocery stores gruesome and many would find the picture of a big juicy steak on the grill down right beautiful.

I don't see people running down to the slaughter house to take pictures.

Bravo Mama!!!!!! I see people on here praise a photo of a bird eating a fish or a gator going after a bird or a bird of prey going after another bird. This is the same thing. This is nature in one of her more disturbing moods but if the cat can't eat the we would not have a cat to photograph and Ohh and Aww over.

Great shot Vearl! Hope your were at a safe distance!
