Vibrant and sharp photos. They hold the viewer's interest and look really good in download.

Colorful, vibrant, and very well done, Bmac. But...good heavens--is that a Boston baseball cap I see in Yankee territory!? And with the Sam Adams, a local favorite here, you're not a closet Red Sox fan, are you?

I enjoyed looking at your shots. I work 2nd shift in an area just off downtown Dallas & do a fair amount of 'street' photography. I find that they mostly break down into two categories. Action - Event type shots (an Indian wedding procession or the demolition of a building) - or - rapidly improvised 'street' portraits. For the 1st type of shot, I use an auto setting (like action/event) and live view. I keep a 18-105mm on the camera and use a fairly wide setting. I also shoot in burst mode. Grab as many shots as I can and hope for the best. The 2nd type is a bit more difficult as it requires inter-reaction with people on the street. The good news is that I have found that well over 90% of the people I've approached have been very congenial and happy to have their photo taken. For these, I use AP mode & possibly a speedlight. Background and lighting are a bit of a crap-shoot. I find the intimacy / action factors in 'street' photography to be very rewarding.

I agree, people are interesting......the difficult (for me) part is having the photographs be. :-D

Thanks for taking a look Don and I like those orange sneakers in your avatar. 8-)

Terrific - a most enjoyable series.

These brought back the memory of seeing a Jenny Craig diet shop next door to a Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor. :-D
