Yep I've used Op Tech for about 25 yrs.. You can't produce a second rate product and still be in business for over 30 yrs. (Unless you are the House of Representatives).

I am looking for a good camera strap that is comfortable, easy to access my camera quickly and has a quick release feature. I am looking at BlackRapid RS-W1 Ballistic Nylon Women's Strap. Has anyone used one? Can you give me your opinion of one? Thanks!
You might not hear of this strap elsewhere, but go to "corporatetravelsafety.com", then look at their PACSAFE CarrySafe 100 camera strap. It is actually designed more for security than looks or comfort. There are nifty locks that are nearly impossible to open unless you are trained to do so. The strap itself has a steel cable running the entire length, no one is going to "cut-and-run" with your camera. The connectors are very well engineered and built. It is a very well built product. Best part? $29.95 use + shipping.
I use the Cotoncarrier vest for 2 cameras - supplemented it with some extra sets of the op/tech uni loop connectors for added security. Almost a perfect setup for all day hiking and or outdoor activity.
The vest for 2 body setup goes for around 180-190 new. I picked mine up on ebay auction for $150 (new) - though pricey, well worth the convenience you get. I recently used it extensively on an europe trip for 10 days, lugging 2 systems and with little exertion. The release system is very convenient. The only reservation I have is the functionality of the support strap - where they use rings mounted to the body. I found that it was not very user friendly to switch back to the regular strap when I didn't need to use the vest. I have worked around that by purchasing some uniloop straps from op/tech and mounting a set on the camera and another on the regular camera strap thereby making it a quick release action. I have also attached another set of the uniloop strap on the cotton carrier for redundancy to latch to the camera when I am using that for added safety. The uniloop connectors are very unobtrusive and not bulky at all or get in the way and they are very strong - each rated to support up to 15 lbs. Hope this helps.
