I say hang on to the D7000. I feel mirror-less is the future. Give it another year or two.

Full frame is the way to go! But why stop at the D610? If it is a matter of cost, the d750 is only a few hundred more and has considerably more features.

Depends on your needs or spending $$ for full frame may not be the way to go. What lenses are already on hand? Of course when it comes to photo equip,we don't necessarily have to justify too much!

Even though the D7000 is four years old, it is no slouch but if you have the money to upgrade to a D610...go for it, it is a considerable upgrade.

The D7000 and the D610 together make for a wonderful pair of bodies, complementing each other extremely well.

I love the D7000. The only reason that I got a Df is well, because it's a Df!!
Seriously though, The D7000 is a great camera and I wouldn't trade it in on a full frame body. Now, if you're looking for a FF body to go along with the D7000, the D610 of D750 are both good choices.

Upgrading to full frame is a new world. I agree with MT. Get a full frame and keep the 7000.

Keep the D7000 for a backup - Get the new D750 for all the wonderful features and benefits of Full Frame. You won't look back, you will not regret.

Keep the D7000, it is a great camera. If you want to venture into full frame, determine how you plan to use it and buy according to your needs. I have a D7000 and wanted to add full frame so after assessing my needs, I decided on the D610, which just arrived last week. It requires better glass than lenses typically used with DX bodies so that will be some additional expense. And, I am taking classes to help me learn and get better. Depends on you and what you want to do with photography. Good luck - many here will endorse the D610 as a great body.
