I think his barn name is going to be Nugget, his registered name will be his show name so it has to so it has to sound good over the PA.

I'm almost afraid to ask how you would use it.

Since you've decided to keep Nugget as a barn name, I'd like to suggest Carolina Gold as a registered name. Hope you have many, many good years with your new friend.

Well, it has been over a year since I lost Kansas, my friend of over 14 years. I have been searching for months for a new buddy. I thought I found one in an Appaloosa in Michigan but he had crooked front legs and I couldn't get past that. I'm glad I waited. I have put a deposit on a new horse, meet "Nugget". I won't get him home till the first week in December (he is in South Carolina). He is 18 months old. (That is NOT me in the photo!)

He is a beautiful horse...:) thanx for sharing..

I know how you feel about your lost of Kansas, in as such we lost Scoopy Monday. He was 42 years old according to his papers; he was a register Quarter Pony. Kim our daughter rode him when she was around 5,then our other kids showed him.Scoopy was always watchfull of the kids and won Grand Champion for Pleasure, & Western Horsemanship at the Ohio Sate Fair in the Quarter Pony class in the 80"s. He also won in The All - American Youth Show. Scoopy was a lost for our entire family; Rest in Peace Scoopy Doo !

That is a wonderfully long time for a horse to live, Kansas was only 15. You had an amazing lifetime with him.
Did you see the poem on my post when he passed?

Beautiful Palamino. When we were guides at the a horse riding stable in Tennesse, they had an old gentle horse named "Nugget" she was so gentle when you put little kids on her back and she was almost 17 hands. She died at the grand old age of 27. Hope you like your new horse.
