I just snapped these while I was walking around. I have little interest in gardening (unless I can eat it, lol), So I don't have a clue what these are. They are suitable for downloading.

Can't help you out on what they are, but what they are are super!!!
Change of pace for you Earl and I like them a lot!
Did you use the macro on the sx50?

Angela, I shot these with my D7100/Nikon 55-300mm, & a 12mm extension ring. As much as I love my little SX50, I do like to blow the dust off my Nikons occasionally, lol. :-)

The only one I know is the third one. It's the blooms of shell ginger, a beautiful tropical. Don't know the other 2, but they're very pretty. Good shots, Earl. I know closeup shooting isn't your cuppa tea, but I'm glad you're taking some shots and posting. :-)

#3 is a stunning set of blossoms, Earl. I would spend more time in a garden with these subjects...Even if I can't eat them. LOL :thumbup:
