I'm sitting on the fence trying to decide between the 7D Mk II or a 1 DX? Really need you guys to post ISO/AF opinions!

I've ordered the standard BG-E16 I believe (the new one for the 7D Mk II specifically).
I like the way the camera feels in my hand with the extra grip and also it makes shooting in portrait mode much easier - especially when I'm using my monopod out on the ice.

right now the new 7dmark Ii might have a slight lead on the 1Dx...and we all know that canon has something up their sleeve...trust me...I will be trying out the 7D mark 2 the day it arrives.

My question is about the batt. grip. Canon wants about $260.00 USD for it, I know it has all of the controls on it too. That seems high to me and the batts. seem high too. I have been using the T-3 and used grey brand (3rd. party)grip and batts with no problem. Would you fella's use 3rd. party on the 7D mark II.
Waiting to see if any problems crop up with the Mark II. Any input would be great, thanks guys.

I plan on buying the thrid party grip once it is relased...all my other cameras have third party grips and thus far...no problem...oops..a pin just came out
