For those of you who requested inside photos of my unfinished house, here is a few photos of the progress. The first photo is the unfinished kitchen, (no upper cabinets yet, I'm in the process of building them) The ceiling is white pine cut from the property and sawed on my sawmill.
The second is the little alcove that houses the modern Almira glass top cook stove. (built to look like a real wood cook range) The field stone was gathered from the property, sawed in half and cemented to the inside wall.
The third photo is the kitchen sink which i built from white oak and coated it with two part epoxy. (yes it's a wooden sink) the decorative designs on it are to match the cook range.

You have more time on your hands then I do. You do wonderful work. The stove is particularly beautiful.
Ha ha ha! with doing all the work by myself, I have zero time on my hands! Trust me!!
Nice pictures, great trade skills, although the counter lighting looks like it will cast shadows over the work space?
Here is the master bathroom vanity top that is cut from one white pine log, cut on my mill, the bowls carved in it. It has three thick coats of two part epoxy on it.
I was concerned about the lighting, but it turned out not to be a problem. :-D
Great work Tom! And how wonderful to be using materials off your own property. Don't forget to post pictures when it's finally finished.

You're a very talented man. Hope you get it finished one day. I know I wouldn't.

Tom, you leave me in awe. Coming from a two left thumbs family, I think your talent must be genetic. Well, that's my excuse anyway. I am amazed at the quality of your work.
Beautiful, I love rustic woodwork...although this is "art". Nice joinery on that arch over the stove.

Amazing work, Tom. As a woodworker myself, I am envious of your talent and the obvious love you have for this project. Keep up the good work. It will keep you young and inspired not to mention deeply satisfied.
Nice work Tom! I also am a termite and like to see others work.
