We got 4 to 0ver 7 inchs of rain in the area 1 day so that slowed us down, moisture count on corn had to be 16 or less to be accepted at feed mill, long lines and over 2 hrs wait for local feed mill so trucks had to drive hr to other milll and a hr drive back, avg time to unload 30-45 mins so we had 3 trucks on avg on road.
Could fill grain cart in 30-45 mins so we had some major down time while waiting .
On a good day we could start at around 9 and work untill 9 pm so we had 1 cart ready for truck next morning, bad day it was 12 or later before we could start ( to much dew ).
Broke a tie rod end on combine @ 4.30 1 Saturday and had to drive 45 miles Sunday for a replacement and back got fixed @ 11 am and then was down for 2 hrs while dealing with sheriff in regards to my tractor being robbed of 1 battery and the drivers door on the 8410 being busted out.
