I like to frame the pictures I post. I use the Museum Frame feature on Google's Picasa. Of late the outer--dark frame-- is always the same size, which is too large for many photos--it overpowers the subject. Any ideas out there on how to get this frame feature working properly again?

The slider to change size isn't working?
Is there some way to repair the frame's slider?

I was asking/confirming if that was the problem :) Have you tried closing the program, maybe even rebooting computer? Does the same thing happen with all photos?
Yes to both. I have closed the program and rebooted. The slider on Picaso tells me I have the width like I want it, but when I hit the print button it always comes up the same broad width. Perhaps it's some connection problem with my printer: HP Desk Jet 970 CXI ?

Ah, you see it OK, but it doesn't print that way. I don't have any advice, knowledge, or experience on that end; sorry :|
Thanks for the try anyway. I guess I'll see if I can get to a google tech.
Best wishes,

Maybe check for an update to Picasa?
Maybe delete and reload the program?
Good luck
Thank you. I'll give them a try. That museum matt can certainly dress up a photo. You can run it twice and get some interesting matting effects.

If updating doesn't work, you may want to completely uninstall, and reinstall Picasa. I'm pretty certain that your "tags" all stay in place. May want to check that, I haven't used Picasa in a long time.
Thank you for your reply . . . wish me luck.
