STM is quieter for video shooting and that is why it was developed. Who knows which way things will go in the future. By the way I can't hear my USM lenses either but I guess someone could.

I just watched a video on Cannon Rumors by Scott Kelby on the 7DII. It is very worth watching for anyone considering the 7D line up. The new II is much more camera than the original 7D. Makes a person wonder about the 5DIII vs the new 7DII.

I know I have mentioned this on other threads regarding the 7D2. It is supposed to deliver in Novemebr. My birthday is in Novemeber. Coincidence? I don't hink so! PM me if you need a delivery address. :wink: :wink:
