I think that on Vermont licence plates the motto should be,
''A great place to get lost''

LOL. I think you are right roadrunner. Wow...what a great trek! You hit both of my home areas! How long does that take?

Thank you infocus. The world has so many diverse areas physically and culturally. It is a wonderful day when you can capture the beauty in your own back yard.

My brother sent me some awesome aerial photos last week from Bangor, though there is likely still some color in southern Maine. I live in central Washington State, but after seeing some many gorgeous New England shots this week, I am missing my home state a lot :)

The first time we did it in six days. Hauled a tent, sleeping bags, clothes, mess kits etc. The second and third times we wandered back and forth between VT & NH took us ten days. It was a thrill!
