Buy the Canon lens.
Nikon does not make lenses to fit Canon.

The link below from Ken Rockwell indicates this model is a very economical investment. If you shop for a used copy rather than new, you can find a copy at nearly half the new price. B&H has a used department. KEH only sells used and their price is about $60 lower.

While most of what they have is used, KEH also sells new stock...I buy a good bit from them & have been to their facility (to return a lens I didn't like. I live about 25 miles from them).... Shame it's not a storefront though
