Thanks imagemeister, Good shots are 1 in 100 and ok shots 1 in 50. Burst shooting and fast focusing lens are only hope of getting any shots.

I've found it difficult to shoot dragon flies ! Great pictures!;) love the reflections.

Thanks Susan, In flight you can not focus on them but these pause for a brief moment before the female lays eggs. I focus on the water below the pair and burst a group of shots and hope the pair fly into focus. It is hit and miss but when all the stars are in alignment you get a few good shots.

Thanks Angela, I do work hard at it till I get the results and I am pleased but not total satisfied. I am still working on getting better pictures if not this season maybe next.
