Here's an interesting story about a spender that got inside a lens and spun a web. Has anyone heard of anything like that before?

Wait till the media gets hold of this story! That little dead spider will become a huge live tarantula that required the evacuation of an entire block. And a SWAT team, no doubt!

The environmentalists will demand that cameras be banned so that endangered spiders be protected. The Global Warming freaks will point to the spiders hiding in camera lenses is proof of changing climate. The occupy wall streeters will demand the break up of Big Camera and the Unions will protest the the Camera jobs have all been outsourced.

Yes, oddly enough. About 20 years ago, I had a Pentax. It broke regularly. Once, a few days after getting it back from repair, I raised the camera, eye to viewfinder, and saw a massive fly. It was in perfect focus, and had to be right in front of me. Lowered the camera, no fly. Re-raised the camera, there it was. I can only guess that during the repair, a fly's egg got into the viewfinder and hatched. Maybe if your spider had been around then, it would have dealt with my fly...

And the poor spider died still wondering why all of the mosquitoes hitting the lens never got caught in her web.
