The beautiful mountains, hills, and hoodoos around Blue Mesa Reservoir, west of Gunnison, Colorado.

The rock formation in image #6, #7, #8, #9, & #11 is called Dillon Pinnacles.

Thank you, Andy! Every curve we went around gave us another beautiful vista. :-)
They were awesome. I especially liked the 8 and 9 Dillon Pinnacles. The striations in the rock formations were very cool. Thanks for sharing. Bill
Nice set...I especially like #12
Thank you so much, Bill and cntry.
I needed some boats out there, to give everything perspective! It's so much vaster than a picture can ever show. But the lake was mostly bereft of any watercraft. There's a boat in #17; hard to see unless you click 'Download'. We have sometimes driven past the Blue Mesa when it is all a-litter with sailboats. Such a pretty sight! But boats or no boats, the scenery is amazing.
Lovely set. Hard to pick but I think I like 8 the best.
Thank you, Jean and rlaugh! :)
