How can I get a Renaissance look by using PS Cs6 or perhaps using 3rd party program? Thank you.

Really could use more information. Maybe an example?

If your talking about something like Scott Black's image, you will need a few years of post processing work under your hat.

Here's a modern portrait done in a renaissance style. There is no slider or Plugin to do this. You need to start off with a period dressed model. Next you need to master color in post processing.

Unfortunately Scott doesn't give tutorials. I would be first in line with a flight to Scotland. (That's where he lives)

Here's one video tutorial that might be of some help. (Click on the image.)

Getting the wardrobe together would be a project in itself.

This woman takes portraits of herself in airplane lavatories. She uses items at hand to imitate the old masters.

Oh, I imagine she's a GREAT hit with the other folks in line waiting to 'hit the head!'

Painter probably is a better program than Adobe to get what you want, but there are a number of sources to check. One that got some good Amazon reviews is a book:

I have no direct experience with it. When I occasionally try painterly effects with CS6, I do it by trying different approaches of my own making.
