I'm probably boring everyone to tears; but I did work on two more black and white photos that I took close to my house. I like the textures in the first shot and I tried to play around with vignette and selective lighting in the second shot.
Wow Erich. #1 is excellent. Love the composition. #2 is goth. Love them.

Nice images, the house is very nice, the wood and rope could be just a bit darker and a bit more contrast for me.

These are anything but boring Ebrunner, I love the texture of that first capture and your vignette effect worked nicely for you second. Keep um coming please. :-D
Thank you for the kind comments. Glad you liked the shots.
Erich, the first one is a piece of art.
Thank you so much. I really do appreciate that. Now I need to find some time to view all the wonderful photos I'm sure you guys have been posting while I've been messing around. This would be a great forum if only I didn't have a job. lol.
Just another thing to try.. It may work better with some images more than others.. You have also inspired me to do some more B&W in my quest for the perfect image... :)
I think that is one of the most important aspects of this forum. We see things that others are doing and get inspired for our own work. So much better than operating in a vacuum.
