Canon 7D for sale with some extras that will have you shooting straight out of the box. It's a great camera, just not being used any longer.

Purchased Oct 2012, used extensively, approx 28,000 shutter actuations. Includes mode dial lock modification. Pictures below confirm only minor visible wear with no scratches on LCD. (The 'dust' in the pictures are paper towel lint from an effort to shine him up for pictures.) The eyecap is shown in picture 6 when I realized I'd forgotten to put it back on for the pictures.

It would be a better deal if a lens came with it. It is kind of hard to take any pictures without a lens.

That is a good price.. You mentioned extras, the only thing extra is the 16 GIG CF card, all the rest is standard issue that comes with camera as factory boxed.. However the camera appears to be in very good condition... I just purchased a bran new 7D from B&H a month ago.

Hi jboy24 - the mode dial can randomly move between M/ Av / Tv / P without the lock - a button in the middle of the dial. I've experienced this repeatedly, particularly when following a high activity event where you're moving rapidly and handling the camera in many different positions. You pause for a moment and find your settings are no longer what they were when you started... Canon provided a service option, for a $100 fee, for the 7D and 5DII bodies to replace the dial with a locking version that is now standard on most models. Shipping would also be an extra although when purchasing from large vendors that provide free shipping, this out-of-pocket expense to me probably no longer seems like an 'extra'.

Glad the OP is ignoring the questions about lenses. He's obviously selling the BODY ONLY and that's a good price. You want a lens, buy one.

Yes I know what you mean, I have had that problem with my 40D..started shooting a scene and noticed something was wrong. I will defiantly look into that, I am relatively close to a Canon service center. Thanks for your reply and the tip I appreciate it...
