Buying nikon d7100 refurbed from Cameta Camera

I have had good dealings with Cameta. Some say the Mack warranty is of questionable value, but I don't have any experience with it. One of my D4's have the warranty, but haven't had any problems.
One thing to consider. Some companies will tell you the shutter count on refurbs. Both of my D4's are refurbs. Once came with a shutter count of 127, and the other 4100. Some companies will tell you the shutter count, and some won't, including Nikon itself.

I have been buying equipment from Cameta for over 15 years. They are in Amityville Long Island NY. They have always stood buy their equipment. Read the returns and all the fine lines about the products. You also have camera Wholesalers in Stamford conn very good!

I have purchased two cameras from Cameta and been very happy with the transactions. My refurb D7000 a couple years ago and recently my Sony a6000. Do not buy those made up kits with tripods and lens blowers and useless other junk. (It's not just Cameta, but all the vendors put these things together.When they offered me a kit with the a6000, I asked them to remove the tripod, "That would save you $5." Can you imagine what a $5 tripod is really worth?
But Cameta is fine and they didn't try to upsell me. For the D7100, get a couple of Lexar or Sandisk Extreme Pro (95mbs) sd cards.

Cameta Camera is one of Amazon's vendors. I have made a few purchase through Amazon with Cameta for used and refurb. lenses. They have always been good. Usually better than the description rating. Hope this helps.

Living not far from their Long Island store, I have dealt with them on a few occasions. They seem to be a major re-seller of Nikon equipment, likely because Nikon USA headquarters are only a few miles from their store and warehouse. Their headquarters also house their repair department.
Each time I have purchased refurbished equipment from them, they sent me over to their warehouse to pick up my purchase. Yes, I pay NY sales tax, but would in any event, living in NY.
I have never had an issue with any of my purchases, and since their refurb prices are so reasonable (as compared to buying used) and the guarantee so good, I would recommend them in full confidence.

Cameta is as good as they come. I've bought 2 cameras from them and both were like new. No problems.

I just placed my order for a Refurb D7100 from Cameta based on comments here on the hog. Called and talked to a rep and he was very informative and friendly....not pushy at all. 8-)

I purchased my refurbished D7100 body from Cameta last July. Service was outstanding, I wholeheartedly recommend them.
