Add lens profile to LR5?

I just picked up a Rokinon 8mm to play with. I shoot a Canon 50D. Is there a lens profile that I can get for LR5? And, if so, how to install it so that it can be found by LR.
Thanks
Marty

I've been wondering the same thing, and your post caused me to do a little digging. I found this on Adobe's website.

When I downloaded it, it said to make sure I had something AIR on the computer before downloading. I downloaded anyway and it now says there is no program on my computer to open it so what have I missed?

I downloaded the file, but the only file available was for Canon 7D and I have the 50D. I got frustrated and had to let it rest a bit.
Adobe Air was also a download, free, from Adobe. I think it is "the plug in" so you can "get the plug in" so to speak. LOL

Did you try the various names that the Rokinon is marketed as? Samyang,Bower, Opteka and several other names, and they are all from the same manufacture.

I spent some time checking it out and t does not have my Nikon Df listed either. However, I believe that if you find a camera that is the closest to yours, you may still be able to use some of the profiles offered. I'm going to check a few out when I get a chance and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks. I tried the 7D profile, but there was no change in the image. Not sure that it is installed correctly or not. Thanks for your help.

Marty, I'm just wondering why you would want a lens profile for a fisheye lens! Those profiles help to reduce or eliminate barrel distortion and vignetting which are inherent to a fisheye lens. A profile can also reduce chromatic abberation which can be dealt with separately in LR. Am I missing something here?

I think that's an EF-S mount lens. With the crop factor of the sensor, you don't get a fisheye effect from that lens.

Yes, it is designed for a crop sensor body and takes in a 167 degree view. Parallel lines that are close to the lens show extreme barrel distortion that would be difficult if not impossible to remedy with post processing software which is what prompted my question about using a lens profile to try and correct this.

Here's what I don't understand. I have a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 lens and for some pictures it shows up in the lens profile list in LR, and for a few images, it does not. So I tried to install a profile for the lens form the profile downloader that I found and it still is not showing up for some images.
