I had worked in the maritime field for over 45 years and an old paddle wheel boat seemed very fitting. Love being on the Mississippi River.

I see the quote "Fools names, like fools faces are often seen in public places" has been attributed from various sources to an unknown Russian, the famous Mr. Anonymous, and to Mr. Thomas Fuller who died in 1661. If you got it personally from Mr. Fuller, that definitely makes your UHH name appropriate, and I understand the hesitation to post an image for your Avatar. ☺

I saw one rip a cat to shreds in a matter of seconds. The cat got too close to the coon's babies. Not a pretty sight. They can be really mean for sure.
There is a person here who has an avatar that reminds me of a raccoon crawling out of a steamy swamp. I think it is a selfie but the likeness to a raccoon is unmistakable. :mrgreen:

1-I thought you guys might like to see a face to go with the posts.
2-This shot was taken on a wonderful vacation with the love of my life. Every time I look at it it reminds me of that trip and makes me smile.
(I know I'm not much to look at but she's kinda cute.) :D

I picked my avatar because in 2003 was the first time I seen the eagle hang out around my work area.
When he hit the water and couldn't pull this sucker out of the water he hobbled to the shore, rested then fly off I must have took 15 pictures (Film Camera ) could not wait to get my pictures back from studio to see what developed.
This is what started my new and bigger lens purchases.
