Nice looking Scrub Jay. Did you not use the 600mm because you were hand holding. It might have saved you the cropping. Just curious. Thanks for sharing.
Yes. Was hand holding lens and had very little time. I didn't want to be too zoomed in because I may have been too tight since he was only 20 feet away. I waited a logn time, then packed it in, then regrouped when he reappeared suddenly. Had lens at 400mm, and a few seconds to shot. Otherwise, would have zoomed in tighter if time permitted.
