set 2

Nice set. Glad to see that she is still around. It makes me want to tie her up put a warm compress on her hoof and squeeze out that nasty pus. Poor thing.
What did you do? Open a bag of flour on your porch? Cause I know that could not be snow. Yuck!

as you know i was carrying all of those bags of Powder sugar up to make Xmas cookies and a darn bag slipped from my full arms and busted all over.
i tried to sweep it up- but because the deck was wet - it stuck like Glue.

Shes keeping it clean with constant licking- so i am hoping for the best with her foot- no not the sugar..
Wink!

so I guess I get no cookies this year! Darn it.

Yes I have my toes crossed for her. I would say fingers but she has none so I have to use my toes!

I still have the cheese ones for you- just can't cover them with sugar like last years.
She was here a while ago, I see her fawns are bedded down- she'll be back soon.

The sweetheart came in this morning after the snow we had last night, still hobbling on 3 legs.
Her fawns were with her, which i was glad to see.
Before
anyone asks about her hoof, i have to say- i do not know what the cause was or how it happened. But I do hope she heals before to long.

I hope she is okay, please keep us updated. I love seeing all the pictures of your deer. It's hard to believe you had snow, our forecast for tomorrow is 105. Terri.

We had a deer that was injured a couple years back. We went to the local feed store and got some medicated feed and after a couple of months shefinally got to putting some weight on it (front leg) and by the end of six
months she was getting along good. Now you can’t tell at all.
