Price difference: D750 vs. D750 w/ 24-120mm lens?

Does this sound right? The Nikon D750 is $2296.95 (at B&H) and the D750 w/24-120 f4 lens is $3596.95.
$1300 for the this kit lens sounds like a lot.

The 24/120 f4 might be included as part of a kit, but it is not a kit lens. It is f4 through its entire range. Its awesome.

Good glass is always worth the money.:) I just got the new 80-400 afs. I can't believe how much better it is compared to my old one!!! I am trying to up date some of my older glass too.:)

Fx lenses require about double the amount of glass over Dx.
What camera are you thinking to replace?

I started my digital ride with a D300s. Got it because of it's weather proofing and build. I do most of my shooting outside in all kinds of weather. I just stepped up to a D600 to try FF. Wow! what a big difference in sharpness. I just got the new 80-400 and on both cameras it is excellent. But the D600 out shines the D300s as far as sharpness. But I still love the D300s as far as not worrying about the weather.:)

Thanks Erv. I am seeing some used D600's out there. I'm wondering if I should have gone for a used D600 instead of a new D7100. But, like I said, I am happy with my D7100.
