Living in an area where fog is almost a daily occurrence it's easy to find trees stuck in the fog. Fog is our naturally air condition.
Great set Mike, number 2 is my favorite. Well done! :-D
Very nice captures. Fog sure provides an atmosphere of mystery to images. Nice job.

Great shots....another favorite place for me in your area is at the Point Reyes Lighthouse. On the walk to the stairs to access the lighthouse there is a canopy of trees that are super great looking when the fog is present and about to burn off in the sun.

There are so many Photo Ops in your area that I would forget meals sometimes while on photo seeking journeys.

Very nice and evocative shots. Especially like #'s 3 & 4
Nice portfolio of trees. Is one of the trees from the 17 mile drive? Seems like I have an image of that tree.
Good ones.

All very beautiful pictures and compositions but my favourite is number 6. I managed to get a shot of 3 the other day. :-)
Thank you so much Sylvia, #6 was also taken on the 17 mile drive, early morning, right by the golf courses.
Hope you didn't have too much smoke in Yosemite.

Enjoying Yosemite but a lot of smoke about, strong smell. Once the breeze came in the afternoon it blew a lot away.
Terrible internet here only managed to post this one pic, moving on this morning. Thank you very much for your interest. :D
Thank you so much Phil, boy, we even would pay for the rain, when I see the fires around Yosemite it breaks my heart. I most likely will not make it up there this fall as I had a heart attack that might limit my travels, maybe it's better that way I don't have to see the destruction. OMG, about Ansel, it is an honor just to be mentioned in the same sentence. I remember him well sitting in his gallery at the Yosemite Village trying to sell his creations, I bought an 8x10 print of Mirror Lake for around $30. when his stardom was rising I needed some money and sold it for $400. Should have kept it. Take care.
