Help With My Flickr Account

After Adobe took the website where I posted my photos away so no one could find them anymore, I created a Flickr to share my photos. A friend recently pointed out it is possible to download my photos from the website. I can't seem to find a way to let people see them without it being possible to download my photos. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a friend who has been on Flickr for years. When I asked him the same question, he commented he has made many sales through his Flickr displays, that the only unauthorized download was by someone in Botswana, that it was a small risk and one well worth taking ...

From your flickr account home page, on the upper right side you should see a search box, to the right of the search box is your buddy icon. Click on the buddy icon, a menu will appear. click 'Setting'. Now click on the 'Privacy & Permissions' tab. The 1st question is 'who can access your original image files'. click edit and then check who can access the original file.

I post only small size files to Flickr and put an obvious watermark on them, copyright + reference to my Fine Art America site, Bob.

Good to know, I went in to my account and changed it. I guess it defaults to everyone can have access to your files.

Thanks.
