It sure is a big barn! Good shot, Cotondog!
I think it's a great photo. There's something about barns that draws me to them. If this was downloadable, it would be my wallpaper!! Good job...and welcome.

Very nice image!!
I think I would like the barn more to the right of the frame to hide the blue streak in the sky, or maybe clone some clouds over the spot.
I shoot most image from many diff. angles and diff framing, more foreground & less foreground and many diff. exposures just in case I missed something in the first shot.
If this barn is near by I would shoot it at diff. times of day, weather cond. and seasons.
Your lucky to have a barn like this one, most in my area have gone to a pile of sticks or have been raised.
I am like you. I am trying to take pictures of the old barns, because when they are gone, that is it. they have such a history to tell. thanks for sharing this great old barn. love it. deb

Thank you for your very thoughtful and helpful comments, Manglesphoto. They are very much appreciated. I wish the barn was close by, as I would take the shots you suggested. But they will be helpful for my next barn photo.

Thank you, grandmadeb. I appreciate your comments. These old places are disappearing so quickly. It's sad to see, so the photos seem to keep us in touch with the past.
Cotondog. I did what you said and have never seen the photo since. Where did they go ?? Thanks

Gee, I don't know. Did you read the instructions "How to Post a Photo" in the Help Section at the top of the main UHH home page screen? I have never heard of pictures suddenly disappearing. If you tried everything you can think of, you may need to contact Admin to see what has happened. Wish I could be more helpful.
