Very nice shot, yes very good. I have these coming to my hummer feeders, so made a lager hole for them they come everyday but still I have not got a good picture, they don't stay long each trip.

I haven't needed to alter the feeders since they seem to do quite well in spite of the small holes. Maybe they stay longer because it's more work to get the "nectar." I've tried putting out other treats for them, but the HB food is their preference.

Thanks so much for taking time to look and comment. I appreciate it.

The orioles that visit are very shy and leave if they think I even glance out the window. I caught this one "posing" a short time ago. This was shot through a tinted kitchen window, but the light seemed to work favorably. Out of about 8 shots, this was the best.

Fantastic shot through glass. I have often wondered if shooting through a one-way mirror would degrade the image too badly. Anyone have any experience?

Many thanks, but sorry, I can't answer your question. My windows are a bit like one-way mirrors when the light is reflecting off them. I suppose there's some degradation by the mere fact that they're usually dirty. :-)

Great capture! Beautiful little birdie... I would never have known that was shot through a tinted window. Nice and sharp. Did you use the 100-400mm on this guy? Thanks for sharing.
