Just got software. Resized a photo from around 640 x 500 pixels to 3000 x 2400. Super! Photo has mountains that look hazy in fog, looks grainy. Reduced fog somewhat with Dynamic Contrast, auto. Picture still looks grainy (ISO 800). is there a way to reduce graininess, pixelation?

My wife is a graphic designer and has been using the "resize" program or some variant of it for many years in order to create photos as large as standup displays and even billboards. The key is to make ALL the adjustments to the image BEFORE resizing it with the onOne or any other resizing software. If you reduce noise prior to resizing the image, you won't get noise as a result of the software. It produces great results.

Yes there is a way to reduce grain, Don't upsize by more than 10%. You can never upsize by more than about 10% and get a great result with any program.

Some add grain to dimish the look of the noise. Be patient the new OnOne will have another modual just for noise reduction. I'm running version 8.5.1 and haven't run into any problem in re-size, but then I shooting at a much higher res.

Try upsizing in steps of less that 10 % each time until you get the size you need. This works well for some reason unknown to me.
