In defense of Governor Rick Perry

Jesus Christ, righteous and without flaw, was indicted, convicted, and executed 2000+ years ago. He walked the dusty trails of the Galilee region doing good, but he was a political threat. No fault could be found with him so the Pharisees trumped up charges against him of healing on the Sabbath and dining with sinners.

Things haven’t changed a great deal. Governor Rick Perry, a good man, a moral man, a competent man, has been indicted by Democrats (Pharisees?) for vetoing funds for a corrupt Texas institution. The mere fact that he prays causes leprosy to break out in radical liberal Austin, home of fringe left professors and other assorted wacko leftists. Liberals know they have no chance at the ballot box among Texas voters, the majority of whom reject the immoral left. This is why power hungry Democrats have played their trump card of political assassination.

An indictment is a one-way street. Only one side is presented to a grand jury, and that is the prosecutor’s side. There is no defense permitted; no witnesses who might counter distortions and lies of prosecutorial witnesses. It is a meaningless tool for ferreting out the truth. Law school students are taught that even a “ham sandwich can be indicted.”

The state-run, left wing, media are tripping over themselves speculating about the negative impact on a Rick Perry presidential candidacy in 2016. Not once have I heard the same media speculate about the negative impact on Hillary Clinton’s possible Democrat candidacy because her negligence contributed to the death of four persons. Rick Perry didn’t get anyone killed.

If Governor Perry goes to trial in Travis County or some similar enclave of radical leftist indoctrination, jurors will be chosen from the same polluted pool as the grand jury that handed down the indictment. He will be found guilty because he is a threat to the corruption of liberals. One thing you can count on: A trial will not be immediate. Democrats will drag it out, and drag it out, to inflict as much damage as possible. It’s the politics of hate.

The Good News: Resurrection Morning is coming. There is adequate precedent that makes it inconceivable that an appellate court would permit a political witch hunt to stand. Rick Perry will rise from the dead triumphant.

So Ropin' Rick is like Jesus for you. Wow.

At least Jesus was intelligent and readily articulated original ideas. Jesus did not need handlers to write all his talking points.

Rand Paul Revives Immigration Attack Against Rick Perry

Texas law supported by Mr. Perry that grants in-state tuition to undocumented students brought to the U.S. as children is a “beacon” that encourages more illegal immigration.

Wow, Rick Perry is being compared to Jesus.
I'm sure Jesus would have been fine with 275 state sponsored murders and a total lack of integrity.

Rick Perry is Jesus. Yeah, right. People like Rick Perry get elected because only the right wing votes in Texas. The liberals have given up, which is our own fault. Even a lot of liberals think this charge is weak and trumped up. Personally I think it is all a publicity stunt cooked up by Perry supporters. Someone put this idea in the head of the DA and she fell for it because she was angry. Most people are not fond of prosecutors, let alone one who breaks the law herself. Righteous Rick goes after the evil prosecutor. He's now a hero to a lot of people and will get millions in free publicity. As a democrat it pains me how badly they play the game in Texas. I doubt Perry has much shot at the presidency, but his chances just got BETTER because of this. He was smiling in his mug shot because he knows this.

You must be talking about the liberal god obama. Sure can't be Ropin Rick, which by the way is not a demeaning slur with country people like you wish it was. Handlers, hell if it was not for Jarrett, Soros and others obama would not be able to say Good Muslim Morning to ya all. No teleprompter and speech writers no words for obama to intelligently speak.

Good lord, 275 state sponsored murders, is that really how many the Clinton's had done in, that is amazing, thanks for letting us know, damn I never knew it was that many, I thought something like 28 or so but 275, geesh.

Well shoot, when I made up the Ropin' Rick moniker, the intent was not for it to be a demeaning slur for Rick. Its more of a slur for his supporters. You know, he ropes in the gullible who are desperate to believe the right wing stuff that is written for him.

I have voted conservative so many times. But, I do not blindly support candidates from the right. Rick is a caricature that sells well cause he's good looking and has some charisma. Hand him a mike and give him ten or fifteen minutes to talk extemporaneously, and he gets lost. That is why he likes quick sound bites and tries to avoid election debates like they are a disease.

Jesus could spot a Pharisee as quick as Perry could. Many of 'em post on the Hog - they like to call themselves "liberals". As you Pharisee's keep spreading falsehoods, it's bound to catch up with you sooner or later.

You got a passel of 'em there in Oklahoma with you right now! Perry didn't bring 'em. You ain't seen nothing yet, slickdraw. You Pharisee-liberals on the left haven't begun to witness what will be happening over the next few months!

I kinda like ol Rick, not the best but when I look at the general field to choose from right now I am not impressed either. The republicans can do better and should to get things back on track. Kinda like an only toy as a kid, you play with what you got and fix it when it breaks.
