EM 10 question

I am a Nikon user and recently bought an EM 10 to have a small travel camera. With Nikons, it is best to turn off the image stabilization on the lens when using a tripod. What about using a tripod with a camera like the EM10 with the 3 axis stabilization built into the body? Will that improve or have a negative affect on the results?

It is recommended that us turn IS off when using a tripod with these m43 cameras too, just like with our DSLR's.

With the Olympus the same general logic applies even though Olympus has IBIS. I know that on my E-PL5 and E-PM1 and previous Olympus models, you can turn IBIS off entirely, or you can turn off the vertical shake portion and horizontal shake separately. Turn off horizontal when panning horizontally, or turn off vertical for video (I think that's the way I read it-I don't do video).
