Photographed at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park located in Oyster Bay, New York.

Seagull Trivia - If seagulls hadn't evolved to drink sea water, they would have died out or moved back to lake living long ago. Thankfully, evolution provided a special supraorbital gland that scrubs the salt from the seagull's blood and expels it as an ultra-salty liquid from the nostrils.

Critique, comments and suggestions welcomed. Thanks. 8-)

Outstanding shot, Bmac. When I read the title, I half expected a new painting by Munch, lol. Wasn't sure what I was going to see, but perfectly titled, as they certainly DO screech, and at the top of their lungs!!!

Love it.
