Nice improvement in both the truck and the photography.

Beautiful!
But something else.... I think your neighbors place washed away.
There's a river there now.

Glad it didn't take your cherry truck away. :D

Nice ride GH!!! Great job on the restore. Why didn't the bow tie make it back on? I had a 64 I fixed up and a 58. Now I am working on a 78 Ford f250. Never can find time right now though.

Look at the split rims, big tires, big bumpers, big mirrors and don't forget the gun rack (right off the farm).

I'm sorry.....I don't like the blue bow tie they put on everything which matched nothing (they later moved it to the grille). I am from the era of leading in (old term when they did use lead). I still have the emblem somewhere.

Great job, the photos and the truck. I like the hood without the bow tie. Much cleaner looking. I have a friend who used to restore Datsun "Z" cars, and his trademark was "no hood badge". Thanks for posting.

At one time I had a 1987 Chevy Luv truck.
I found a gag item at a party store one time and used it for a hood ornament.
That plastic pile of dog-doo was quite a conversation starter.
It reflected my feelings of the truck.
When it died, I called Pick-A-Part and got $100 and they towed it away for free.
I thought I got a pretty good return on the gag Dog-Doo. ;)

What happened to the Chevy emblem on the top front of the hood?

Outstanding work on truck and photography.
Isn't it nice when things turn out so good.

Great improvement in both fronts. We are restoring my wife's 71 Ford truck, she purchased it in 72, needs a little work so we should be done in say 20 years.

I don't think you need the hood emblem when is says "Chevrolet" across the front grille. We should ask for opinions about this. Emblem or no emblem.
