Not much in the way of flying today, I've tried to ID them but if you see I'm wrong, please let me know. The 1st DOES need an ID

Number 1 is possibly a sanderling, although these little peeps are really tough for me to identify.

I have a bird ID book but by the time you look them all over, there's Juvenile, 1stb yr, 2nd year non breeding..geeze what's a person to do?

These are great photos. I agree with O Bob when he said it is difficult to identify these birds. I consider it an
