Most co-operative model I have had in a long time.

Canon 5D Mark II with Canon 300mm L prime lens at f/4.5
ISO 100 at 1/400 sec.

Gorgeous. Has a very pleasing painterly, artistic feel to it.

Good equipment always shows through. Tack sharp subject with creamy bokeh - the marks of a an excellent prime lens in the hands of a master. Good on ya Mate.

Thank you very much.
This butterfly could care less about me and let me move all around it shooting.
Must have been at least 15 minutes of lens time.

I had a butterfly like that once that I really wanted to keep as a pet. It even let me pick it up and I walked around with it on my head. It happened before I was bitten by the Nikon bug else I would have filled a big memory card with shots of him. I wanted to put him on my dog's nose for a snapshot and call it
"The Silence of the Labs".
