These are great photo's of NYC! I am new to the group and the first photo's I come across are yours and I love the contrast and depth that you added to each photo...nice work ...
john, if I can ask, what software you are using...I am in awe of depth and the color...
Dynamic HDR and Photoshop Elements...
Thanks, now I just need to learn how to use both...
Your beautiful pics make me want to take a trip to NYC; the Chamber of Commerce should pay you a royalty! I am new to this, can I ask if the shots were handheld?
Thank you...yes all hand held just walking around enjoying NY.
Really like your touch on these pics.
All of your comments on my shots are greatly appreciated...I would love to become a professional as many of you are...unfortunately you need a break to be noticed..to read positive comments on your work from peers is very satisfying....Again, thank you for your comments both positive and negitive, I will continue to put my best pics on here..please comment either way (negitive is welcome) it's how we learn as artist..I truly beleive photography is an art...
Again more great ones John!!!!!
How do u capture a tall bldg from bottom to top.? Is there a certian lens with a wide angle. This really confuses me.
John, I would like to see NON HDR images as a starting point. The HDR halos don't improve the images. Your merry-go-round image sis my favorite.

More of NYC
In my opinion the HDR is overcooked and the merry go round shot is the best because of that...except for the tree in the middle of it.
Thank you...not everyone is into HDR, just a different aspect...the lion and 2 of the bryany park are original
