I took this bird photo at the Fernbank Park on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio (USA). I didn't recognize what type of bird it is and I haven't noticed it before now.

Also the photo is in color but looks like a black and white at first glance... it was standing on the concrete walkway adjacent to the Ohio River.

Good shot of whatever kind it is. I have no idea but it appears to either be molting or immature from the rough looks of the feathers. Hope someone knows. I'm curious.

I believe it to be an immature mockingbird. Bit I can't be sure.

It looks like a young Northern Mockingbird.

I thought that too, but this was in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm pretty sure they aren't there.

I'm really sure it's an immature Northern Mockingbird. Look closely at it's mouth, you can still see the yellow.

Yes, a recently fledged Northern Mockingbird. The yellow around the base of the bill (aka the gape) indicates that it is a juvenile and probably a few weeks out of the nest. Greater Roadrunners only make it as far northeast as southern Missouri....

It certainly is not a Roadrunner but, as stated by others, it is probably a Mockingbird.
