Who do I think I am? I A LAW-abiding, compassionate, Christian,appreciative AMERICAN that knows the value of our veterans and the reasons they deserve our RESPECT. The vets I have had the wonderful opportunity to deal with have been absolutely kind and generous to a fault though they have every reason to be bitter after the way the government and people like you have treated them. Its your choice to feel that way, but I don't see how you can say you are a nice person and harbor so much resentment to your fellow citizens because they are either military or Christian.

None of what you said speaks to the state of Florida, Zimmerman may be an asshole, I think that he has proven this, but the jurisprudence system worked as it should have in that case, Martin was beating the crap out of someone with a ccp, banging his head into concrete, a witness testified to this, in the end he was shot, why people thought that Zimmerman would be convicted of murder is most easily explained by their liberal belief that a black man was shot by a quasi white man so therefore it must have been racially motivated.... As far as Zimmerman following Martin... you guys want to dismiss that the neighborhood had been riddled with breakins and even home invasions by young black thugs coming in from the outside... It was totally the convergence of a bad set of circumstances, Martin should not have been killed that night but that does not mean that Zimmerman is guilty of murder.... But of course liberals are so sold on the White Guilt trip they can't just see the case for what it was..... Even the black residents of that neighborhood understood what happened there, but the white liberals of PA and NY seem to think that they know better.

How about I do some research on heinous crimes committed daily in Philadelphia and hold those people out as being representative of the good people of Pennsylvania? I have seen some pretty stupid and ugly stories coming out of Philly, but I never really applied those stories to the entire state.... damn, how conservative of me.

The guy holding the sign about indigenous people has a point. Native Americans, whether north or south, have every right to be bitter. That same bitterness is reflected by the college professor, who, by the way, is correct. By 2034, according to projections, whites will be the minority. What no one seems to want to talk about, however, is why these people come here. If the governments south of the border could get their acts together and stamp out the gangs and drug dealers which make those countries so unsafe, then people wouldn't be so desperate as to send their children north with smugglers rather than keep them in their native lands. I'd like to see troops pulled out of the Middle East and sent to Central America to help those governments. Putting up more fences or putting more people on border patrols doesn't get to the root of the problem. If the natives felt Mexico and Central America were safe places this wouldn't be happening. We seem to be more concerned with what is happening in Iraq than what is happeing in our own hemisphere.
