We stayed two days on San Juan Island, Washington and here are a few pictures of eagles I took.
WOW! I was just there, too. Saw eagles, took pictures, but none worth showing. I was too far away with too short a lens. Saving my pennies for a nicer lens for distance. What equipment did you use?
Thanks Margie B. I have a Canon 60D with a kit lens 18-135. The eagles were feeding in an open field and were so fast I put it on action and just started panning and clicking away. Guess I got very lucky!

Wow..shots like that with only 135mm on the long end. Very nice pics!
I had to do some cropping but was pretty close to them. Thanks for the reply Wildtrk.
Great shots, quick finger. Thanks for sharing.

Even with the cropping damn fine shots.
Wow! These are excellent shots, saparoo! That eagle has his eye on some lunch, I think.
Thanks for looking and the positive comments, bee7474, Mrodri1014, Wildtrk and sailorsmom. I had fun taking them.
