(Funny thought just came to my feeble, old man mind...when I was young and in the service, NBC stood for "Nuclear-Biological- Chemical".)

Anyway, I guess now that NBC, the network, has downplayed the impact of the appropriation of this low grade material by the bad guys (they are bad to you, aren't they regren?), then they will give up the pursuit of even more lethal means of wageing jihad? I don't think we should underestimate our secuity services. The vast majority of those that pose threats are under their microscope at all times. The planned movements of suspects will be known about long before they make them and if they are trying to fly back into our countries this will be known about before they even board a plane at their departure airport.

I am a doctor - I don't "profess" to be. And I am probably more qualified to understand the biological results of a "dirty bomb" than you are, unless you are a physicist or nuclear technician.

Nothing is 100%. Offense does not have to be but 1% effective to cause disaster, whereas defense has to be 100% to prevent it. The odds are 100 to 1 in their favor!
