Don't try to explain to me you have never played this trick on your man?
Well, I have. Plain in clear. But that is not what I call doing something bad. It is not a bad thing naming your mans wank Princess Sophia. Okay, Okay - maybe so.
If you have no idea what I am talking about, shame on you!
One of my all time favorite movies, How to loose a guy in 10 days.
I can recite the entire movie & watch it over & over & over & over again. I laugh just as hard every time!

I used to love wanking on Princess Sophia too!
I work in construction and change locations regularly. Every day I take a point and shoot (Samsung 14 MP) and a Kodak 1080p video camera with me. They are at my side at all times. The Pentax K10 is with me also but stays in the carrier bag. For quick shots I use the point and shoot. If I have time to unpack the K10 I do that. I have to say that you guys gave some of the best and funniest responses to this post. Love this forum!!!
Big Bear! I loved your post! I cut my photographer's teeth on a Canon FTb all those years ago, but still haven't moved up to a DSLR. I am planning to do that in the very near future and have begun checking out my options. I guess I am ready to sacrifice light weight ease of use and go back to lugging a backpack filled with lenses, filters, etc., which I did for so long that the blue backpack became an extension of my body, like an exta limb and is in every picture ever taken of me during those years.
I have been researching cameras and lenses and debating Canon or Nikon. This site seems to have predominately Nikon posts. Switching to a DSLR is going to be like starting all over learning the basics, as I have gotten pretty lazy relying on automatic settings much of the time, unless I am aiming for a special artistic effect. Maybe it will be like riding a bicycle, though, and much of the same principles still apply and will come back to me. My main concern is the switch from a Canon operating system and being familiar with how it works to a Nikon and starting over from scratch. How different is it?
Anyway, Big Bear, I love your sense of humor and dry wit and look forward to your future posts!
Elena
Yep, you have camaphobia...

I did a very bad thing today. I left my camera at home. Well yes I hand my cell phone and it has a built in camera. And I was going to the same dog park that I have been using for the last 15 years. What could I see that would be dif today?
Well there was the clear blue sky and the white clouds floating by. And then there was the fellow who backed out without looking and came with in inches of T boning me.
Hey that would have made a nice shot.
So I will leave it up to you. If you want me to leave the group, I will understand.
I will miss you all so much.
I will have to re-join.
I will have to think of a new name and password.
Sorry, Will try to remember that everyday is a great photo day.

I tell my students to always keep a camera at their side, otherwise they have a 100 percent chance of missing the next rainbow.
Recently went to an aquarium and left my point and shoot home it is an 8mp with a preset for shooting behind glass it works great in musieums and aquariums. Did have my dslr but was not happy with those pics. I think I will take some pics at an aquarium using the preset on the pns then look at the data so I can create a custom setting on my dslr. Would this work?
Go for the Canon !! No regrets! Besides if you ever need repairs to a Nikon, you will have to send it back to Nikon. Not so with Canon...

Not too sure the repair thing should be a deciding factor. I am am member of NPS, when I have a camera down, I email a replacement camera request. I send my camera off, usually have it back in a week to 10 days tops, and they send me a replacement during this time. This is something Canon does not do.
So why buy an inferior camera:) I wonder what I have started now?

I wouldn't know. I have never had to have a Canon camera repaired. I have owned 9 of them over the years.

I like this! Should be standard atonement for forgivable transgressions.
It is Rochester, NY and depending on your affiliation, you may substitute Nikon where appropriate.
You are forgiven; go, and sin no more.
