I have a few. I add alittle photshop sometimes to try and create a mytery effect. Some are crystal sharp, but I like to show more than just an image of clarity. I want to involve motion and art. Here are some.

I really like the #3 shot and treatment of the Bee...or is it a yellow jacket..? Nice...! oh and the swallowtails are beautiful...! Linda
It's funny that this was one of the first threads I saw. I spent most of my day off Wednesday with a bunch of bugs!
My favorite of the day
I'm working on taking pictures of yellow things for a calendar for my sister. This beetle on the a yellow flower was too cute to pass up. (at least I thought so. :) )
This was the only bug I caught on goldenrod, so I like him, just because it's a different flower. :)
the humming bird moth is awesome. all great shots

I love the Swallowtail sitting on a finger. Also like the hummingbird moths. I don't have many but here are a couple.Don't have PS or anything.
The Pipevine Swallowtail is very pretty...I don't know that I would do anything to it...Prob. cause I wouldn't know what to do to make it better... The Mantis needs something to PoP him out from the gray of the asphalt...I just don't know enough to tell you what to do or how to do it...Again...I really like the pipevine....Linda
Thank you very much. The B/W is a yellow jacket. The other is a bummble bee.

I use a Nikon D90 with Nikkor 105D macro lens and a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight with a $30 (eBay) O-Flash 3/4-ringlight attachment to light my macro subjects so I can achieve maximum DOF.
Thanks for giving all the info. I love these photos!
