I did a very bad thing today. I left my camera at home. Well yes I hand my cell phone and it has a built in camera. And I was going to the same dog park that I have been using for the last 15 years. What could I see that would be dif today?

Well there was the clear blue sky and the white clouds floating by. And then there was the fellow who backed out without looking and came with in inches of “T boning me”.
Hey that would have made a nice shot.

So I will leave it up to you. If you want me to leave the group, I will understand.
I will miss you all so much.
I will have to re-join.
I will have to think of a new name and password.

Sorry, Will try to remember that everyday is a great photo day.

Get over it and don't do it again.
I'm always regretting it when I forget or can't take my gear with me.

I only had my small P&S with me yesterday and debated with myself about taking my DSLR as I did not think I was going to get good shooting opportuinties. I then was upset that I did not bring my DSLR.

I like this! Should be standard atonement for forgivable transgressions.

Hi Dietxanadu; I think at one time or another we have all missed "The Shot" because we didn't have a camera handy. Mine was many years ago, I was driving down the road when I spotted two young boys in a small row boat, in the middle of a flooded corn field (probably no more than two foot of water). Fishing.... Yes Fishing.. They had their fishing poles in hand just knowing they were about to catch the fish of the day... Would have made a very cute picture.

I have heard it said that Nikons are gizzardless, and Canons are heartless. Could be just rumor.

Maybe leaving it home was a blessing. If you were eying a shot you may not have seen the other guy coming, you may have been a statistic today.

I never bring my camera anywhere, I'm scared it will get hurt, damaged or dropped. I leave it at home in a protective bubble.
