LightRoom has this as a watermark option when you are exporting your images.

Good Question... meaning it makes me think out an answer for you that should work... I have tried several simple methods before and sort of gave up when it did not work (one was using Faststone text overlay) .... so after finishing my first cup of coffee,,,, here is a solution that should work... (easier to think for someone else than for my self ... and thought experiments alway work... well at least in the mind !!)

Wright you signature with good black fine-point marker on white paper (Topaz does well with winter tree branches and fine hair so should work with black on white signature). Make sure to connect both names for continuity. I would use Topaz Remask this would give me signature as a layer which can be be transferred and sized to merge with your final print and will change size along with you photo for different size prints.

If you think this will not work, let me know why. I am going to try it this after noon.

Note: even if you do not have Topaz Remask, you can down load a 30 day trial and save the resulting layer.

I have a different suggestion. Make your photography so distinctive and personal that people can tell it is yours without a signature. If you can't do that, then get a type of pen that writes in gold or silver and put that on your photos.

I know a photographer who had an embossing stamp made of her actual signature. It was subtle and classy looking.

Welcome -

Google or youtube how to add copyright in Photoshop and you will get many "how to's" -

I personally use the brush with a copyright watermark assigned to it. This allows me to 1 click my watermark on the photo's.

I found the video in youtube for Elements and the used the same process to create the brush in Photoshop.

This one is by Rick Peterson in Elements -

This one is from Lisa Langell - she uses a layer method.

In Photoshop Elements 9 Organizer, select the files you wish to "watermark" and, right click on one, and select "Edit in Photoshop Editor". After the editor loads and your files are displayed, Select "File" Select "Process Multiple Files", There is a space in the Lower right window that pops up to enter Watermark selections. You can do one at a time or multiples this way. Once you select source and destination, your font, color, and text it is quick and easy.

Pretty easy. Just make a custom brush with your signature. Here's one tutorial. (There are others) http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/brush/brush.htm

There are different ways to approach this. I would recommend creating a brush for your signature.

You could also take advantage of the batch processing feature in Elements.

And here are more possibilities.

Hi welcome to the forum. These folks have already covered what you need I want to add that if you print a photo to give away or sell you should also sign in pencil to add a personal touch, the person getting that photo will appreciate the added thought.
