I think we need to work out what is right and wrong for ourselves. If life as a human being means anything then that's where the meaning is. We do it individually (our own personal morality) and collectively (via laws). But that doesn't need to be about telling us how we should live our lives unless the way we lead them causes harm to others.

The golden rule - treat others how you would wish to be treated - is helpful here. And it's emphatically NOT an invention of christianity. It's been at the heart of religions and philosophical schools the world over and through recorded history.

I do worry about people who claim that they cannot tell right from wrong without reference to an external authority though.

You do know that the United States is a nation of laws. That is a lot of people for you to worry about, including yourself. You should know right from wrong by now but don't you dare break one of our laws. Not knowing the law is not excuse.

I am not getting into a discussion with you about Genesis because that is some what over your head but I can help you to get from your home to the store and back. You have heard of the four points of the compass, I am sure. That would be North, South, East and West, also know as the four corners of the earth. Start East and continue around the Earth and you will return from the West. When the Bible speaks of the four corners of the earth, it means the entire earth. If you could not understand this, how on earth could you understand anything out of the book of Genesis?

All these science preaching folk need to step back for a minute and realize how often science has BEEN WRONG. And don't just take my word for it history prove it - didnt yall learn them scientists used to believe the earth was flat? :lol: Well ain't no one ever showed GOD'S WORD to be wrong and ain't no one ever will.

It was only 500 years ago that they finally figured out that the earth revolved around the sun.
Just in my lifetime I have seen them change their mind on how old the earth is. But I know that they got it right now. :roll:

Seems like everytime I hear em on TV they're adding on a few million or billion years. What's another million when you're off by a billion? :lol:
