Completely disagree with your statement:
"We are completely out of sync with nature. Most other species maintain a balance with nature and local resources. Us not so much...we are trying so hard to figure out how to inhabit other worlds in space so we can overpopulate them to and at the end FK them up as well, if we're successful!"

Here is why I disagree:
We (human kind) are in sync with nature. Man is doing exactly what all other species have done since the beginning of time. When we overpopulate, destroy our land, and consequently blow our resources then our numbers will dwindle, just like with all other plants and animals. It's really that simple, whether we go to the moon, again, or to Mars or wherever.

We are a very smart species of animal with the brains to manage our resources, but the question is how do we do so with the rest of the world? There are attempts in that direction, at this time, but are we smart enough to work together throughout the world to accomplish that? If not, then we not so smart as we think we are.

The problem with being a smart species of animal is that too often those in power use their brains to enrich themselves while only contributing to the demise of the planet.

It appears that other countries are doing much better in attempting to solve the world's problems than the U.S.

Germany and China are far ahead of the U.S. in renewable energy. China has enacted family limit laws to cut down population explosion. The U.S. has more carbon emissions than any other country when compared by population.

I agree with the poster -- overpopulation is a "root cause" of a big problem. The earth is no different than an Otis elevator in that each has a load limit. I don't claim to know what the earth's load limit is, but I'm pretty sure we have exceeded it.

Careful now James. Larry will get a Complex, receiving all these compliments. I too was enthused by his positive comments.
Amongst all that mystique & anger, there is a beating heart & a thinking brain.

The source of my anger, Bunko T, is that I can tell the difference between buildings that are collapsing and buildings that are being blown up.

Knowing that difference, how can I not be angry?
Should I not try to help bring to justice those guilty of that act of mass murder and the illegal wars that act enabled?

Possibly even the survival of human life on this planet depends on the truth being revealed and the evil ones being brought to justice instead of allowing them to continue their destructive path.

Larry old mate, I don't know what your ultimate quest or vendetta is, but I don't think you spleen venting on this forum is going to reach any satisfactory solution. Spare us the vitriol & make love, not war.

It's nearly impossible to successfully defend lies. Best you leave now and not be totally embarrassed.

Give it away Larry while you're in front.
It's one thing to look a fool to your own folks but another to look a twit to the rest of the world. I'm off to bed. You've got half a day or more to catch up, suggest you take a rest.

Overpopulation is the number one problem in the world today.

Many areas such as Texas and California are running low on water. Both states produce a lot of food from farming. Without water that food won't be grown. As climate change progresses, it will get worse.

Religion is the main obstacle to population control. Until the world population evolves beyond primitive beliefs, we don't have much hope of reining in population explosion.

That may be true, you have to go a little further back to the origins of the "Agenda 21" movement to the Club of Rome, bunch of wackos who have infected the left and bought science to further their agenda.

You're admitting I'm in front.

Is that a Freudian slip?
