Isn't it something that some people can't get #'s under 20 right.

But all they hear is that HL has discontinued all B/C methods.

Never once do they check things out

The official reports list IUDs and the Plan b pills are the only form of contraception that is on the Hobby Lobby no fly list.

in the bigger picture... it is a loss of an individual's rights versus the gain of a corporation's rights

Actually it is a gain for liberty and freedom. This corporation is a closely held corp., and the owner because he wished to not compromise his religious beliefs , nor should have been made to, decided to fight this government's intrusion. 16 of the contraceptive provisions are still required by them but the abortions methods affecting the post inception period will not be required. Christians believe that life begins at conception and that when you've ended life after conception you've committed murder.

Those that work for him have alternatives, He does not. They can practice safe sex, buy their own post conception abortive drugs, or find somewhere else to work.

Totally agree with you! But I am leaving this forum based on some of the sharp tongued and nasty language. Discussion is fine, but there is no need for anyone to be rude to others...

The UHH forum is a rich resource for photography related information. Chit Chat is another thing altogether. I suggest that you un -watch the Chit Chat and spend quality time in the photo based sections.

I agree with you but the right wing conservatives began the hate towards this president. They've set a terrible precedent because if they ever do find a candidate for the presidency, he/she will be treated like they treat Obama. I think forever more all bets are off concerning politicians. Maybe I'm wrong...

Maybe your too young to remember how George W Bush was treated?

Then by the same token, anyone that believes that "when you've ended life after conception you've committed murder", should not be required to pay any taxes used to support wars.

Insurance is not a free lunch, it is a paid for lunch that the companies make a profit on and that's why they are in the business.

What a bunch of humbug. 40 pages most of written by headline readers. There is a more to this than the headline folks, spend less time here and more time reading, the possibly some of you can express something more than name calling. Don,t bother to reply as I will unwatch immediately after posting. Better things to do.

The evangelical position is that the spark of the diving (the soul) enters the egg at the moment of fertilization. Therefore for whatever reason, if the egg fails to implant or develop, it is an abortion. Science tells us that about 75-80% of fertilized eggs pass without implantation and therefore die (meaning they are aborted). Now who is responsible for that wholesale abortion? Nothing human - instead _______.

Are you kidding? Is that a joke? They have shareholders and are required by corporate law to make money for the shareholders. Did you really think for all these years they've been kicking people off when they get sick or not giving them insurance if they've been sick before (pre-existing) conditions because they wanted to be kind and not make a profit as required by law?

????? There is absolutely no law which requires a Corporation to make a profit.

Your previous post seems to indicate that you think companies that provide health insurance make a profit on doing that. They do not.

I just wonder how many of the "religios" working for Hobby Lobby use some form of birth control and pay for it out of their own pockets, but want others to think they are on the right side of God (Catholic Church) and say nothing?

Why would you wonder that at all.....I belong to a very fundamental Baptist church... the only thing that my church stands for as far as these forums go, is that we are anti abortion.... use all the Birth Control you want..... I had never heard about the "Four" in contention here, so cannot comment on how my church stands on those... has never been brought up in the 48 years I have been A Christian.

When My wife and I were of Child Bearing age, the insurance I got (partly paid for) from NASA did not cover any type of Birth Control, etc... We paid for what we used out of our pockets.... We didn't expect anything else...

OK, gonna get a lot of heat here!!! If an IUD prevents implantation of a zygote and then that is an abortion, that means God is the most active abortionist in the universe!

While we're on the subject, where in the Bible does it mention IUDs?

Where in the Bible does it mention, Insurers must provide Free Birth control for all.

I do understand that your intention is to try and prove yourself so clever and anti Christian that your peers will admire you and heap praises upon your head...

But please explain your comment on God being an Abortionist..

Us idiots on the dark side just can't keep up with your little witticisms.......

Actually, the Bible does not have much to say about abortion. The religious right twists themselves into knots and are very selective in cherry-picking their verses, but when taken in context, the Bible really does not have much to say on the subject.

The religious right (except for the Catholic Church--admirably consistent) only glommed onto abortion in the '80s when the whole "black children going to school with white children is an abomination" thing ran out of steam.
